You might be surprised by how large the Lego Star Wars 10186 normal Grievous is. At 18 inches tall, it may be challenging to build. It has 1,100 pieces, but to Lego fanatics that's part of the attraction. Any Lego aficionado or Star Wars fan will want to own this kit. All of it is pose-able, and this one has four arms. The base also rotates, meaning you can twirl normal Grievous nearby and show every person the innards behind his chest plate!
One of the most challenging features of this kit is the four translucent light sabers in different colors: one for each arm!

The estimate of things that a person could generate plainly with all the pieces to this kit is probably countless. The translucent plastic parts that the light sabers are made of are not something your midpoint Lego kit has.
But for the purists out there, this kit makes an perfect display once it's completed. It looks like a tall spider with light saber arms. This is the kind of buildings that anyone would want to show off after putting in the time to build it.
The main "problem" with the Lego Star Wars 10186 normal Grievous kit is going to be retention Dad or any big brothers away from it. Once it's completed, any Star Wars fan is going to want to grab it, and sneak it to the office one day in order to have the coolest desktop in the entire It section. Perhaps the best way to cope with this father/child tug of war that is likely to erupt with the normal Grievous kit is to go ahead and buy two at the outset.
And if Dad doesn't have the time to build one himself, maybe his tiny Lego expert can offer to assemble it for a "small fee."
